Wilson Medina,
Software Engineer
Backend in Go and Node.js, clean architecture, payments and integrations. I take ambiguous requirements to production.

Featured project
bed.mooba.co
A SaaS platform that takes businesses from selling over WhatsApp to running their own online store, built at mooba. I am the lead engineer: I started it from zero and took it to launch.

- Self-serve store creation, with about 5 stores already live
- Native wallet with split payments between bed and each store
- Wompi, ePayco and Cobru wallet withdrawals; Loggro restaurant POS
- Go API with about 480 endpoints (hexagonal architecture)
- RBAC, BI module, delivery zones with Maps, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics; I also own the CI/CD
Stores running on bed
1st place, Caribe Tech Arena Hackathon

BioFood Connect
Biofood Challenge, Barranquilla, May 2026. With a team, I built a hexagonal Go backend in 48 hours: Claude Haiku answering over WhatsApp, proactive alert workers and a Wompi/Nequi payment flow.
I also took part in another hackathon with medi-agent, without placing. medi-agent repository
Websites at mooba
Built with mooba's design and development team: Next.js front ends and Strapi CMSs, optimized for performance and SEO.
How I work
- I take a requirement from the first conversation to production: architecture, payments and CI/CD included.
- I work with PMs, designers and stakeholders, because the result is better when we build it together.
- I use AI agents and whatever tools are within reach to get there, and I keep ownership of the architecture and the decisions.
